That was my starter weapon as a kid. My Dad and Grandfather had me shooting the same 30-06. And yes, the wind and other factors can effect the bullet and everything else. It's hard to know exactly if it wasn't properly zeroed either.

i bought the eddie for 150$ off a guy he couldnt sell it the seriol numbers are under the mount hidden the gunsmith back in the 60s cover it back then you didnt need serial numbers to be shown, i put a large muzzle break to tame the recoil u see
