I'm going to get grief for what follows, screw it . . . . I have for 2 and a half decades now respected and admired those who CHOSE / VOLUNTEERED to represent These United States Of America. I will always remember the first Veteran I met as a teenager. What I remember the most was the sadness in his eyes. Next was the fact that he walked funny.
