For what it's worth, here's my input on at least part of what you've said.

Inspirational videos ARE NEEDED--but not to promote joining or otherwise increasing the power of the National Guard. Not because the Guard is a bad thing, or the people within it are bad people, but because the use of the guard is too dependent upon politicians who simply can't be trusted to deploy their power correctly, or even at all. We've seen this in spades over the last month and a half (if the Guard had been deployed the way it should have been in these areas wracked by violence and looting, this shit would have ended weeks ago--but the people who are in charge of mobilizing them simply refuse to do so. What happens when they decide to mobilize them against us? Because Kate Brown, Jay Inslee, Gretchen Witmer, et al will do that in a heartbeat, while allowing ANTIFA and the BLM terrorists act with utter impunity.)

Your videos should be directing people to join local civilian groups, or support national ones if they are too afraid to step out and actually put themselves on the line (and I don't blame them, in places like Washington and Oregon). Incidentally, I'm looking for just that sort of thing for what my team and I are putting together. But even if it isn't our organization, it should be some grass-roots, civilian organization that benefits from your efforts, not a well-funded military unit that is at the disposal of anti-Americans like Inslee/Brown/Witmer et al.

Community outreach is the absolute key to any success the Militia, or any offshoot thereof, will have moving forward. And yes, there is no reason to think "regional" or "national", or even "state", coordination until the community units are strong and thriving. Top-down should only be for organization; the power must come from the bottom up.

As for attracting higher level military (retired officers, etc.), we have to prove our worthiness first. That's not going to happen until we have completely shifted the narrative away from the "crazy Militia rednecks" and toward the "strong Citizen Soldiers" image.

What i meant was "like" national guard videos but raising awareness for our cause.  you know family man sees what is happening and wants to help but does not know where to go, then show our groups affecting change, cut to the same guy helping in his community.  I agree with what you said about the guard. you do bring up a good point about the videos not being to specific to the unit, state or region.  if someone goes through the trouble of making a video it should focus on maximum impact.  I will adjust accordingly.

Have a look at this video, it brings up some good points on the entire militia vs community response type group.  I am beginning to think Militia may not be the right name, one key aspect is the type of people the "militia" name attracts, and to your point about tacticool guys tarnishing our image.

I'm beginning to think a community response group may be more effective in branding and recruiting, for one we dont need to worry about overcoming the Militia image, we can start fresh instead of in a hole.  we would still have a wing of the group that operates as a "Militia" but without calling it that and the only people in that wing are people who've proven themselves, quality over quantity.

  2. @ ROFCB Commander

    Great post, My thoughts:

Any suggestions on finding retired or active military personal to train, advise, lead?

we are currently in a 4th and 5th gen war and have been since 1960.  see this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5z24KKd_BQ

I agree, let the Police, DHS, national guard handle this for now, it is clear the left controls the courts and media.  I will not be sucked into fighting the fight the left wants to fight.  When I fight it will be on my terms.  parading around in tactical gear seems stupid and counter productive to the goals, you also look like a larper.

I have started a Washington State Militia page and will be focusing on :

    1. Training everyone to operate as a Green Beret, one the primary focuses of the Green Berets is to train local militias.  Currently we are not getting much traction as far as recruiting at the county level, so anyone we do have needs to be prepared to train people when something does happen or if country recruiting takes off.  It may prove ineffective but a good plan today is better than a great plan next year.

    2. Information war, the militias were integral to the formation of America.  Ordinary citizens picking up arms to secure their freedom and the freedom for their children.  I will be producing inspiration videos, along the lines of national guard recruiting videos mixed with antifa calling for violence.  At the moment antifa and the communists are giving us a golden opportunity with the flood of violent media they are producing, we need to capitalize.

    3. community outreach.  Go fund me has thousands of people needing help, I will focus on fundraising for children in need.  It will not be hard to create a sign with pictures of the child, the go fund me URL, and a sign reading HELP and a Washington State Militia logo.  This will also add to points one and two, also helping children and families in need is a worthy goal in its self.

as far as liking up with other states, sure sounds good.  but we dont have anything to link up with, militias here are inactive, or untrained and seem more like drinking clubs.  WHEN my plans takes hold and become self sustaining then we could talk about region meetups.  at the moment I'm not going to put the card before the horse.

    I would appreciate your input.

  3.

ive got 2 more people going to this thread, reply here.  we can set date and place for meetup also what we want to accomplish.

  4. @ Patrick Killian seeing how this community is small and spread out if a large scale event happened we would be cut off from each other.  that being said, our network should focus on green beret style training, i.e. force multiply,  we should each be prepared to raise, train and supply our own small fighting force quickly.

    weapons handling

    medical

    comms

    tactics

    land nav

    PT

I think meetups in times of peace are a good idea, we can share info, develop SOP for training forces, where we can get cheap weapons, gear, training info.  maybe meetup locations if SHTF. some info should not be shared here.

at a min we should each be prepared to train and arm 10 Men,  weapons, ammo, comms, gear.  start small, have extra stuff for one person, slowly build up to 10.

I am not in this for a first strike option, I do not want anything to do with planning an attack on the government or civilians.  this is purely defensive, i.e. invading army, major natural disaster, ect.

my motto is prepare for the worst expect the best.

Pt seems like something we should be doing on our own, if youre serious that is.

time together should be group training, tactics, medical.....
