This is the 8th Texas Infantry, 1st Division, serving the South Coastal Bend area. There may be militias out there that are beer-drinking, burger-eating, gun-toting, neo-Nazi rednecks playing dress up GI Joe ... This militia isn't one of them. We believe you do not have to be white, Christian or Republican to love your country nor do you have to be a male to be useful. Currently seeking members for combative and non-combative roles. The only excluded membership is a convicted Felon due to Texas' gun laws. Background checks will be conducted on all members. Besides being the last line of defense, we partake in charity events and offer community support during natural disasters. In this militia, Law Enforcement are our allies and unsung heroes.
