Sir,
I was just wondering which units you serve with in the military. I saw your comment on 'cesspool' and never experienced this in the 82nd Airborne Division. Our West Pointers were good but our OCS and ROTC Officers were better.

Yep, Fort Hood, been there but never served there. I live in Texas. I flew the last Huey helicopter on the last lift the day the Army retired that helicopter. I did, however, know LTG Cone and CSM Arthur Coleman-Army 3 Corps.
Every Army Post I have gone to over the years and speaking to every 82d Paratrooper, knowing by their Combat Patch, is dying to get back to Fort Bragg All I can say is that you better be able to Soldier in the 82nd or you are gone to a non-Airborne Unit. The same thing happened in Vietnam within the 82d if an officer or platoon sergeant could not cut it, they were gone within a week or less.
