That will be tough unless you know farmers who would let you do it in their land. I think my .308 is good for 5/600 yards to be safe. Not sure if it would reach 1000 yards without to much velocity drop

Yea Mike is a good guy. I like it there as it's quiet and one of few ranges that let you shoot off rifles and shotguns and it's outdoors
