  1. The Gray Man Concept The “gray man” survival concept isn’t new in preppers’ circles, but it’s also something a lot of questions are asked about. Becoming a “gray man” essentially means strategically not drawing attention to yourself to avoid conflict. Being a “gray man” is easier said than done. Since it’s impossible to predict what the future will hold, especially the future of survivalism, we can only speculate how to best achieve “gray man” status. That said, it is a skill that can be practiced now though, before the SHTF. Blending in, laying low, recognizing dangers, and situational awareness all play a role in this concept. Going unnoticed can keep you out of harm’s way. It’s been said that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. So if you can avoid conflict or any need for self-defense, you’ll have an added advantage when the SHTF. This is one skill that actually costs nothing. All it takes is some rational thought and heightened awareness. HOW TO BE A “GRAY MAN” The first step is to observe others. Start to notice things like attire and how people speak to each other. Observe how people interact with each other and begin to recognize their mannerisms and inclinations. This requires you to first has some decent situational awareness skill – which is also free. After you’ve observed others, your goal is to fit in and avoid creating a stimulus (something that can be embedded in someone else’s memory and creates an impression). Be like those around you. If you stick out, you could become a target. Be remarkably unremarkable and unmemorable. You want to be as invisible as possible, so while keeping with the general tone of attire others are wearing, you’ll want to make sure you wear muted colors, avoid prints (yes, even camouflage), and don’t accessorize. Avoid any military-style clothing. That makes a statement and ensures you will not appear invisible to others. Hide any distinguishable markings such as a birthmark or tattoos. These will make you easily identifiable. You also want to appear non-threatening and make sure your demeanor matches your attire. Don’t go all out and cover your face with a bandanna under a hood. That will suggest that you’re up to no good. Instead, wear a baseball cap and give off the “vibes” of someone who is not doing anything at all except existing. Be boring, but walk as though you have a purpose. Minimize interactions with all people, especially those you do not know. Once the SHTF, you’ll have more enemies than friends especially if your friends have failed to effectively prepare for the bad times. Most importantly, you will want to learn to think like a “gray man.” Changing the way we think is difficult, and impossible for some. But if you want a chance at avoiding as many altercations as possible in dire situations, you’ll need to make the attempt. Learning to be a “gray man” could save your life. Blending in while being forgettable and not leaving an impression on anyone will allow you to go about your business with very limited altercations. This is one skill that is ranked up there with situational awareness. Both situational awareness and being a “gray man” are essential to a proper prepping mentality. Both are free, and in addition to this article, I suggest you read as much as you can about both and begin to use them in your everyday life as practice.
  2. Best low cost communication starter gear. Baofeng Radios UV-5r, GT-3TP Your HT (Handie Talkie) is going to be your first important communications purchase. Forget about regular walkie talkies or FRS radios, they are restricted to transmitting on a half a watt only. You can also get paired MURS radios, but this is only a pale comparison to the capabilities you have as you take 1 step up, and enter into the world of amateur radio. Baofeng radios are a great place to start. Having had numerous debates on this topic, I have found many a die hard radio buff, who will recommend you go for a $200 and up, high quality handheld. If you can afford to spend the money, AND have the inclination to do so, go ahead, there are some pretty nice handheld HAM radios out there, of very high quality between $200 and $400. But here’s my personal experience from out in the field. First of all, if you’re trying to get a group of motivated dedicated people together that will show up for more than just hanging out at the range and drinking beer, then you have a challenging time ahead of you. When you start putting people together, unless you have the perfect storm, you would be doing well to have 10% of them be reliable. What I have found is, that if you convince someone of how great that high quality radio is, and it’s more than they wanted to spend, they will end up with no radio at all, and nothing makes your team members more unreliable, than lack of communication. The cheaper radios will still do a Great! job, and I’d rather be able to get in touch with 10 guys using cheap radios, than only 2 guys with super high end radios. It seems to be that a vast number of preparedness groups rely on the Baofeng UV-5R or variation thereof. Baofeng has several models, but the UV-5R would be your bottom level entry radio that will get you up and running, and you can get them for under $30. The UV-5R is a dual band 5 watt radio that is capable of operating on hundreds of frequencies, is 10 times more powerful than a standard FRS Walkie Talkie, and has a whole host of add-ons that you can buy to go with it, like extra batteries, head-sets, and antenna upgrades. This radio is capable of operating on all MURS, FRS and GMRS frequencies but as you start to unlock the tremendous potential of a dual band handheld, there will always be an appropriate corresponding learning curve. The UV-5r has a variety of sister models that all share interchangeable accessories. These include the UV-5R2, BF-f8HP, BF UV-82, F-9v2. The F8HP and F9v2 are 8 watt versions. I have most of them, and have set up several hundred for people. These radios require some work to program frequencies into, and it seems the best way to get the most out of them, is to use a $5.00 USB cable to connect your radio to your computer, then download CHIRP software for free. Personally, I tend to also like the Baofeng GT-3TP, it has a nicer and sturdier feel, is an 8 watt radio, comes with the car charger cable and add on hand mic. The GT-3TP, TP Stands for Tri-Power, so don’t mistake it for the GT3, which is not the 8 watt version. The GT-3TP even comes with the new waterproof shell, although I’m not sure I’d take it swimming. This version runs about $60, or $65 with the larger battery. Be advised that batteries and some accessories are NOT interchangeable with the UV-5r series models. *FCC License may be required for legal operation.
  3. III% Racist? The answer to this is simply no. The reasoning behind the liberal label of racism is simple. The III% believe in the continuance of america as a productive self sustainable free nation. This means forign policy should be America first. Do whats good for this nation before saving third world countries. Closed borders for both safety and continued productivity of the american people. It is not a no immigration stance, but a legal immigration stance. Do it by the books. Because mexico is populated by mexicans we become labeled as racist. Yet i know legal mexicans that have come to this country legally whom are involved in the iii% movement, as are those of every ethnicity. Building a wall is a move of protectionism which liberals have renamed an act of racism, facism, and nazism. America has involved itself in a war against ideology, more specifically islamic ideology due to its threat to the liberties we are to enjoy granted by the founding of this country. We are labeled islamaphobes. The left habe always used buzz words like this any time someone does or says Something that goes against their own beliefs. Yet there are plenty of examples of why there is a legitimate threat to our society. Look at France for example. They opened their borders to the world. They felt that they could house these depraved people from other countries and no harm would come of it because they can live amongst french citizens and not take their kindness for granted. So masses of islamic followers moved to paris and other parts of france. They grouped themselves together in their self created ghettos that are so dangerous police refuse to go there. Paris has become daily terrorist attacks for more than a decade because these people DIDNT abandon their islamic faith and THEIR lifestyles. The people of france live in fear of these terrorist atacks because it IS an everyday event. It only resently hit international news though when the attack on the paper happened due to cartoonists drawing Mohammed. And it has fallen out of international news but it hasnt stopped. And still more and more of these people are moving in because france is scared of looking "racist" to the world. So rather than protect its people, they do nothing. Mexico has some of the most dangerous places in the world run by drug cartels and ruthless gangs. They already with "closed borders" supply america with 98% of every drug available. They are undocumented and when arrested for crimes, even murder and rape, are sent back to the border again and again. I read one story where this one guy killed 1 person in four different events and was sent back to mexico and he'd just come over and do it again. And its not just Mexican illegals or islamic followers. Its any illegal alien from any country, any ethnicity that we stand against. The chinese government forges its own school records to send chinese to america on student visas. Over 1/4 of these "students" then disappear and never resurface again. So no, we are not racist.
  4. Robert Pitts On Global Warming Note Session Hello. The following is a collection of notes collected on my own research regarding the issue of Global Warming. I have kept it in its original bullet point form of facts, As I find it more readable that way. It is a compilation of facts, articles, and statements. Most is backed with where it is from, and all statements are from the biggest pushers of Global Warming. At the end, I draw my conclusion. Enjoy! The “Solution” Of Global Cooling: “Climatologists are pessimistic that political leaders will take any positive action to compensate for the climatic change, or even to allay its effects. They concede That some of the more spectacular solutions proposed, such as melting the artic ice cap by covering it with black soot or diverting arctic rivers, might create problems far greater than those they solve.” Newsweek, April 28, 1975 (imagine if they acted upon those plans) The “Solution” of Global Warming: A “Layer of pollution deliberately spewed into the atmosphere to help cool the planet... Balloons bearing heavy guns to be used to carry sulfates high aloft and fire them into the stratosphere.” Washington Post, Novermber 16, 2006, By Nobel Prize winning Climatologist Paul J. Crutzen (imagine acting upon that!) “To capture the public imagination, we have to offer up some scary scenarios, make simplified dramatic statements and little mention of any doubts one might have. Each of us has to decide the right balance between being effective and being honest” - Stephan Schneider, lead 2007 UN IPCC Report Author and Climate Alarmist, Who made this statement in 1989. He also wrote one of the reports that led to the Global Cooling scare of the 1970s. The New York Times wrote articles about global cooling in 1924, Global Warming in 1935, Global Cooling in 1975, And Global Warming Today. Time Magazine did the same thing. Temperatures went down from 1940 through 1975, CO2 emissions sky rocketed. Today temperatures are up, CO2 emissions are down. (This is the opposite of what scientists claim blaming CO2 emissions for the rise in temperature.) Scientists say its already too late! “It's much too late to sweat global warming”, San Francisco Chronicle, February 13, 2005 (Then why do anything) Predicted Ocean Level Rise: UN IPCC (United Nations International Panel on Climate Control) 2001 – 19”; UN IPCC-2007-15”; Al Gore – An Inconvenient Truth – 240” In the Past 100 years is has warmed up... about 0.74 degrees Celsius. “Lets just say that Global Warming Deniers are now on par with holocaust deniers, though one denies the past and the other denies the present and future.”, Boston Globe “When we've finally gotten serious about global warming, when the impacts are really hitting us and we're in a full world wide scramble to minimize the damage, we should have war crime trials for these bastards – some sort of Climate Nuremberg”, David Roberts of Climate Website, Grist.com My Findings aren't “... a smoking gun, but a barrage of smoking intergalactic missiles.” Andrew Weaver, Co Author of 2007 UN Climate Report. (Who Talks like that??) A week later an article was wrote entitled: “Experts: Latest Climate Report Too Rosy.” “I would take even money that England will not exist in the year 2000”, - 1969 “In ten years all important animal life in the sea will be extinct. Large areas of coast line will have to be evacuated because of the stench of dead fish.” - 1970 “Giving society cheap abundant energy... would be the equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun.” - 1978. The Above three quotes are from Paul Ehrlich, President of the Center for Conservation Biology at Stanford. “If I were reincarnated, I would with to be returned to earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels.” - Prince Phillip, made this statement when discussing how to fix “global warming” “Every time someone dies as a result of floods in Bangladesh, an airline executive should be dragged out of his office and drowned.” - George Monblot, 2006. Phasing out the human race will solve every problem on earth, social and environmental” - Dave Forman, Founder of Earth First! The best we can say right now is that the climate models are somewhat inconsistent with the evidence that we have for the last 50 years from continental Antarctica. … We're looking for a small signal that represents the impact of human activity and its hard to find at the moment.”, David Bromwich, Researcher with the Byrd Polar Research Center at Ohio State University. The increase of coal burned by china by 2020 will send the equivalent CO2 into the atmosphere as 3,000,000,000 Ford Expeditions driven 15,000 miles a year, which would take close to 15,000 years to even sell that many. That is ONE country and ONE source. Australia mandates light bulbs must be the compact flourescent lightbulb. This saves 800,000 metric tons of CO2 annually. This is 0.21% of Australian emissions. Livestock is responsible for 65% of the greenhouse gas Nitrous Oxide, which warms the planet 296 times more than CO2, plus “Natural Emissions” which produce methane which warms the planet 23 more times than CO2. Livestock is 16% of the World's CO2 Emitters. “Every time you turn on an electric light, you are making another brainless baby.” “Free enterprise really means rivh people get richer. They have the freedom to exploit and psychologically rape their fellow human beings in the process. … Capitalism is destroying the earth.” - Both of the above were said by Helen Caldicott, Union of Concerned Scientists “The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States: We cannot let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the U.S. We have to stop these third world countries right where they are.”, Michael Oppenheimer, Environmental Defense Fund As CO2 levels rise, less people have been dying from extreme weather. It was 485,200 in 1920 and in 2004 it was 19,400 ; a 96% decrease, and we have a lot more people populating the world. After my research I draw my conclusion. I feel we do not know enough about the climate. There are all these laws being passed, but these scientists who make these graphs and reports have no evidence linking the reports to the legislation being passed because of it. In Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth, There are photos of graphs that he points to, yet if you zoom in and actually look at the graphs they are completely different than what he is actually saying. America itself spends about $26.5 trillion dollars on passing world wide prohibitions based off of something we do not know enough about. Nuclear energy is a clean energy that we can invest in while we continue our evolution and studies. Is there an issue, possibly. How do we fix it? Well lets stop listening to anyone who claims to be a Climatologist because today, right now, they do not know themselves what is actually wrong. They contradict themselves with their reports and openly say they need to deceive the public for more funding. So step one, Learn the climate. In the mean time, lets spend this money where it can actually do use good, rather than spend it on international legislation that could be completely pointless anyways.
  5. I read this and i find it perfect for almost any "gun control/anti-gun" arguments: "False is the idea of utility that sacrifices a thousand real advantages for one imaginary or rifling inconvenience; that would take fire from men because it burns, and water because one may drown in it; that has no remedy for evils, except destruction. The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm those only who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Can it be supposed that those who have the courage to violate the most important of the code, will respect the less important and arbitrary ones, which can be violated with ease and impunity, and which, if strictly obeyed, would put an end to personal liberty - so dear to the enlightened legislator - and subject innocent persons to all the vexations that the guilty alone ought to suffer? such laws make things worse for the assaulted and the better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. They ought to be designated as laws not preventive but fearful of crimes, produced by the tumultuous impression of a few isolated facts, and nit by thoughtful consideration of the inconveniences and advantages of a universal decree. This was written by a great philosopher and law man in Italy in 1764, Cesare Beccaria. Even back then they had the same argument for both a collective and individual right for possession of weapons. And do you know why this is? Its because our FOUNDING FATHERS LOOKED AT HIS REASONING WHEN CREATING THE SECOND AMENDMENT.
  6. "America is a democracy". I hear it all the time, whether its from the news or just day to day conversation. Yet this is a common misconception in todays society.America is a republic. The United States of America's Constitution, Article Four, Section Four is a Guarentee to Republic States: "The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a Republican form of government." Some say rather than a republic, we're a "democratic republic", using this term is the equivalent of an evolutionist saying we are monkey humans. A republic is the evolutionized result of the democratic form of government in which political control is exercised by the people. It is a necessity that the community or nation of a democrazy is small. An example of this would be the Greek City-States. I will let James Madison define a Republic: "We may define a republic to be, or at least may bestow that name on, a government whcih derives all its power directly or indirectly from te great body of the people, and is administered by persons holding their offices during pleasure, for a limited period, or during good behavior. It is essential to such a government that it be derived from the great body of the society, not from an incosiderable proportion, or a favored class of it." That was written by James Madison in the Federalist Papers - Paper 19 - to explain the proposed new form of government that would be imposed upon the ratification of the Constitution. An example of a Republic would be the Roman Empire - which our founding fathers and framers of the Constitution based our country's government after. The people of a republic must have what is called Civic Virtues. Without them a republic will become corrupt. One aspect of civic virtue is that citizens must love their country. Another term for this is nationalism. Today if you are a nationalist, you are condemned. Citizens must be honest. They also must be hard working. Today a decent number of Americans refuse to work, opting to recieve money from the government that is taken from those that work. The final aspect of civic virtue is that citizens must live in a modest way, The creators of America thought this was important because people would only be willing to promote the common welfare - which our government was created to protect (see the Declaration of Independence) - instead of their own intrests if non of them were too rich or poor. People who were very wealthy or very poor would be more likely to promote their own intrests at the expense of the common welfare. The Founders believed that great wealth or poverty in a society were the most likely sources of corruption. This was in the 1700s. It seems that 280 years ago the creators of America saw and understood and attempted to make public knowledge the detrimental effects of what is plauging America today (yet some say the knowledge of our founders is outdated). At this point i would like to clarify something, without getting into the details of the creation of political parties. America's two main political parties - Democrats and Republicans - has absolutely nohing to do with the type of government America has. They're only names chosen for their parties. In the 1700's Democrats were instead called federalists. Regardless of our President, we are a republic. As a republic we elect our officials. They are public servants, every last one of them. These people are suposed to do what we say, regardless of their own opinion on something. We give them permission to have this power, trusting that they'll do what they can to protect our guarenteed natural rights or we will remove them from the posititon we put them in. This is our duty as citizens of America. Today America is a cesspool of corruption and abuse of power. Many politicians do what they want and many more only listen to those who line their pockets. Our outlook on Foriegn Affairs is "America last". Due to this America suffers needlessly. Those of us who attempt to fix these issues are shut down by the sae politicians who represent us! We needd to remove those politicians who dont work for the people and replace them with those who will do their duty. We must say no to our government's overstepping policies and remind them that they serve us! We must restore the American Republic or start kneeling for kings!
  7. Message me if still interested. Looking for good men and women to do what is needed rather than wear patriot as a fad or whatnot.

  12. I have added in another item to stashed caches. And it includes what I dub my militias "red folder" which is a manual of sorts for our multiple BOLs and other sensitive stuff not to be looked at unless absolutely needed.
  13. For those looking to join a militia here in New Hampshire, Feel free to get in touch with me. I am the CO of New Hampshire 3% United Patriots.
  14. "If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort, you will not get either comfort or truth; only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair" - C.S. Lewis

  15. You know, once upon a time, it used to be an honor to hold the title revolutionist, Now days people take that word and twist it into something vile, something of pure evil. I think that people need to understand, revolution isnt so much a physical act of war. As John Adams said back in 1818:

    Quote

"But what do we mean by the American Revolution? Do we mean the American War? The Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people."

  16. In late July, FBI director Christopher Wray testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee that his bureau had made 100 domestic terror arrests; later, an FBI spokesperson reduced that claim to 90 arrests -- but when Propublica called the FBI for a list of domestic terror addresses, the Feebs couldn’t name one single instance in which they’d made a domestic terror arrest.

Propublica’s Fritz Zimmermann recounts the bizarre story of trying to get FBI press officers to explain how it could be that the FBI was certain enough of this figure to provide it under oath to the Senate, but also so fuzzy on it that they can’t list a single instance in which it happened.

We tried again: “Thanks for your reply! What I mean is: you clarified the number, so despite DT subjects being charged under ‘other federal, state, and local charges,’ as you wrote, the FBI obviously has information about all these cases. And this is what I’ve been originally asking for. So I would be glad if you could give me the following information about as many of the 90 arrests as possible: who was arrested, where, when and what the allegations were. If you are unable to provide this information or a comprehensive list of press releases I would like to know why.”

On the phone, she again cited the figure of 90 arrests, adding, “These are people that the FBI arrested as a result of a domestic terrorism investigation.”

But she also repeated that the bureau couldn’t give us any information, even press releases, about these arrests. “In their arrests they may not be characterized as domestic terrorists depending on how those arrests were made in the locality, in the state … so it’s just not something the FBI is able to publicly provide,” she said.

  17. In his Farewell Address, George Washington warned that the “Spirit of Party” is “the worst enemy” of republics. Sounding like he had watched an evening of cable news in our day, he observed that the “alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge natural to party dissension” is “itself a frightful despotism”. He asked future generations of Americans to remember that the “common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.”

  18. Still exploring this website . Another member told me about it. Seems like a good place.
