We are pissed at them. We do want to stand up to them. And we are.
We just aren't doing it haphazardly. We aren't reacting in knee-jerk fashion because that's foolish, and actually hurts the cause in the long run. And make no mistake--this topic specifically has been debated, fought over, among leaders of our own movement. Everyone feels the great desire to go out and kick some ass, and that's noble and understandable.
But if kicking AN ass now leaves our own asses exposed for kicking later, we need to rethink that. And others have pointed out the truth of the matter--we often struggle to get five guys to turn out for a barbecue; how the hell are we going to coordinate an effort that will require hundreds or thousands, and maintain that effort over the long haul?
I don't want to go into details--I've already done it in other places, as have others--but using the NFAC Stone Mountain thing in particular, it's important to view that as what it actually was--a bit of well-coordinated theater. It was meant to provoke us, and drive their recruitment numbers...both of which it did very well.
What do you suppose they're doing right now? My guess is they're training, improving their skills, adding to their numbers, and getting ready for the real battle ahead.
What should we be doing? Chasing their ghost? Making silly statements? Being reactionary, instead of measured?
I believe we should be training, improving our skills, adding to our numbers, and getting ready for the real battle ahead--the same as they're doing! Because that battle is coming, and right now they're better prepared for it. I'm willing to die for my country, but I really don't want to. I'd rather make them die for their (misguided) beliefs than me die for mine. That's what we should be focused on doing--not wasting time and resources to "stand up" to an enemy we can't even truly identify, let alone know where they're going to be from one moment to the next.
If we have ACTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE that says "they're likely to show up here to destroy this building" or "they're coming next Tuesday to topple this statue", then by all means it's within our duty to show up and defend our nation/neighbors/property. But between now and then we should be developing that actionable intelligence, and not running off half cocked in the absence of it. Let's focus on improving ourselves, and our intelligence, so that we can make every move a wise and productive one. I want to stand up just the same as you do; I just don't want to be outsmarted, outnumbered, overrun, and then forced to kneel--because if I wind up kneeling today, my children will have to kneel tomorrow.
That's not an acceptable option for me.
For me, I keep my group small. I only recruit and keep motivated people that will be active and kick out the rest.
That means my group is REALLY small. But it also means my troops are worth 500 of the next militia over.
When the time comes for action others will begin training as the fight starts. For us? We will be constantly, aggressively advancing and holding onto nothing but our enemy's balls to kick him in the ass all the time, every time and go through him like shit through a goose.
It's a difference of mentality because most militia think "defensive force" means stay at home and defend a house. What it actually means is don't start the fight.
For me? I will never start the fight but I will always end it with only the complete annihilation of my enemies.

People have become too docile and fearful of being infiltrated by glowies
Let them infiltrate. When it comes time for war I'll kill them too.

Agreed. My guys are mostly active. Usually. We're small but motivated.

Myrtle Beach Police Department starts at $44k, Horry County Police start at $40k.
This isn't really about good or bad cops, but how heavy handed they have become in the last 25 years. I did a stint for 13 months as a special deputy in the mid 80's, and if I had dealt with people like they do on any episode of Cops, I would have been fired and faced possible civil actions. I left the department because of the scumbags, liars, and criminals that were employed there. I've seen deputies trigger VASCAR units early just to write a speeding ticket, deputies helping themselves to items in stores where there had been a break-in, lying under oath, and in one instance busting a guys head against the rain gutter on a Crown Vic for calling him a MF. The whole police mentality, then and even more so now, is "Us against them".
"Absolute power corrupts absolutely"
I'm not disagreeing that there's a problem. But blowing this out of proportion is not going to help either. And the 22k a year is the average salary for a police officer across the US. I'm sure Myrtle Beach starts at that high because it's a huge tourist attraction with disproportionately higher crime rates. I don't know enough about Horry County to comment on the topic.
Regardless, if we want to route corruption raising hell and causing chaos isn't the way to do it. It'll only make things worse in the long term as those in corruption go into hiding and do more behind the scenes than anyone else can ever accomplish. In order to route corruption, modern law enforcement can be exemplary for the method. When dealing with cartels in Bolivia it has proven far more effective to route the corruption by removing the lower level corrupted individuals than it has to remove the corruption at the highest levels of power since the latter causes splinter cells to form as many of those groups vie for power; engaging in turf wars that costs the population hundreds of thousands of lives yearly and additional revenue in clean up by the governments that fight those same cartels.
Our fight is likely not to draw police into gang wars with one another. But it is likely to cost us in the long run if we fight like retards. Taxes do go to the police after all. And if you truly witnessed such things in the department, why did you never report that to Internal Affairs?

Just take a moment and think about what goes down in these encounters when it isn't filmed by someone.....

Most of the time, nothing outrageous happens. Think about how many tickets and citations are written every day. Wayne County Sherriff's Office writes over two thousand a week on their own. If police brutality was truly widespread we wouldn't need cameras because everyone would know about it.
It's best not to blow this out of proportion. Are there bad cops? Hell yeah there's bad ones. But we also don't know everything. We weren't there. And furthermore the number of good cops just trying to do their job and earn their measly 22k a year far outnumber the ones that are shitbags.

We MUST unite the militia nation-wide to oppose this legally, morally and economically!
Ladies and gentlemen, MAN UP and start spamming letters to your representatives! Get the ear of the public and show them you mean business by protesting peacefully!

Here's a question: suppose your militia group had 'roles' but no 'ranks'.
That is, there were riflemen, team leaders, squad leaders, platoon leaders, etc. but no rank.
Roles and ranks in this context would be the exact same thing. One is placing another above the other person. A platoon leader gives orders to a squad leader and so on. So... same system.
The bigger problem with militia that I've seen is most of them want to pretend to be one and hand out high ranks like candy.

Rank is necessary for any organized fighting force. Every militia I have ever seen fail does the "if you were X rank in the military you can be that rank" because then you end up with a ton of NCOs, no lower enlisted and exceptionally few officers.

A fine example of critical thinking. This example has worked VERY well not just in militaries and militias but the online gaming community has taught me a thing or two about management; strange as it may seem. I hereby nominate you to win the lottery sir. Or ma'am. I don't judge.

Why our miltias are a joke

Then what is needed? Two hundred yokels that sit around, drink beer and fantasize about fighting ANTIFA while undertaking NONE of the training?
No my guys train hardcore. We get out and make ourselves known to the public. Our community respects us. Most militia? Their community has no idea who the fuck they are.
The military will be divided when it comes to war. Some for us and some for the other team. You really think they shouldn't know who you are so they don't mistake you for an enemy?
Or we can talk about how most guys in militia can barely run twenty steps before being out of breath. Or we can talk about the lack of disciplined rifle qualifications. Or we can talk about how most militia hide in the woods and LARP rather than training.
Get real. I may not have numbers but my guys will not retreat unless I ask for it and they will never surrender. Can you say the same for yours? No. Because none of the militia in the country seem to get that training breeds discipline and technique.
When the time for fighting comes most militia are going to disband. Too much beer and fantasy rather than any real substance.
