Oh also, Hawaii was made a state against the wishes of it's population at the time. Technically Hawaii is a foreign country under occupation by the US. Sad, but true. 

In other words if the government says "nah fuck your rights" that guy could go "nah fuck your laws". Or just conceal carry anyways without the permit. Better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.  I guess that falls under "fuck your laws" though. 

In any case it's late as hell here. I'm going to bed after I finish this last beer.

Good shit. Hawaii better shape up. It'd be a real shame if something happened to those pretty beaches of theirs.

Yeah. I saw this one called CNN.

He's an off duty cop. There's not really a legal case about him possessing a firearm in any state to my knowledge. Still, kudos to that guy if it turns out he was truly defending himself.
