We as a group of citizens have been surprisingly silent given recent events. I talk to people all the time. Many of them are sympathetic to the same ideals we hold dear. I am young compared to most people here; not even thirty yet. But I am observant. Why are we not protesting? Why are we not getting out there and making our voices heard? Why do we keep pushing away potential allies to our cause merely for a single belief they disagree with from us? Why are we not pushing back? I hear a lot of "I have a job". I hear a lo

Two Fed up Chicks from Sparta

Glad to see more LGBT people that aren't associated with that community. I'm not in your state but if I was I'd gladly have y'all on board. Hope you guys find an excellent militia to work with. God be with you. -
What Amazes Me
Rascaldees replied to LibertyorDeath93's topic in Politics - Policy, Agendas and Parties
No. Not bait. We should rise up in protest and push them back political inch by inch. Let them fire a shot at us. There'll be a thousand coming back. I cannot join you in protest unfortunately. Mainly because walking is very difficult with a broken spine. But I'll be there in spirit. -

Make sure that you are in your legal rights. We will not win this by becoming terrorists ourselves. That said; FIGHT FOR YOUR HOMES -

Then share your plans for a device to protect against an EMP. -

The whole point of the metal is to redirect the wave to go away from the magnetic pulse. -

Iron and steel are conductive. Like metal trash cans. -

Conductive material... you mean like metal? -

I kept out of this one for a minute but decided to step in. To make a farraday cage you take a metal container and fill it with cloth, insulation, anything that doesn't conduct electricity. Afterwards you place the items to be protected in the container. Next put that container in a larger container and bury it underground. The EMP travels through the exterior container, leaving the interior safe. The other container is a backup. Even a single hole compromises the integrity of the container; making it useless. -
Militia Library?

Then in that case we should go digital and distribute the books freely across the entire globe. All of them. The government cannot track just us if the whole nation is angry. -
Militia Library?

I don't post anything on any website aside from asking people if they're available to meet up and even that is rare. I have no Facebook, Twitter, Reddit... nothing. My accounts are exactly this: My bank Mymilitia My email My footprint is so stupidly small I wouldn't doubt that most would overlook it. The point is, however, is that people can also manipulate text and even documents you wrote in order to crucify you in a court of law. Paper is far more secure. And while easier to get to physically, harder for the government to ge -

In this day and age the paper copy is more secure. FAR more secure. I can control who enters my home, for example, to read that document. I cannot control a hacking attempt; only take precautions against it. -
Militia Library?

Then the bigger question; Who gets to decide who gets access to that information? Because information is key to any militia's goals. We should allow it to be public or not have it at all. And instead of super tacticool manuals we should preserve the culture and history that got us here today. Why? Because those that follow must know everything as we do. Otherwise our cause is doomed. -

This sort of thinking is dangerous to be honest. ANYTHING digital is a security risk. -
Militia Library?

Not to be an ass but this isn't true. North Koreans have access to the internet but it is heavily censored. It wouldn't be difficult for lefties to do the same. The information still exists but they cannot view it. That said your ideas are good ones. And while I see the logic in creating tactical manuals for militias I think that would be a militia by militia basis rather than a collaborative library work. Unless you mean more like a manual at arms for militia that is distributed nationally? -
How to Fight: I lost count: Training
Rascaldees replied to Rascaldees's topic in Tactical - Operations, Methods & Maneuvers
Agreed. I have taken a lot of martial arts training and they all say the same thing: do not fight to 'get away'. If you must fight and have no alternative it's time to kill. -

We will need to build a facility is my point. All militia would have to contribute. Personally I think it shouldn't be just a building either. I'm talking some extreme security measures that would make it hard for even the U.S. government to break into it. -
Training is a topic that almost every militia has an opinion on. Like assholes they also usually smell. I will not cover your exact instructions. This is more of a guideline to follow that most militias TALK about but few ACT on; which frankly is worse to me than complete apathy. We will start and end with training that combatants/soldiers/dick touchers should have. Once more, this is a general guideline and not an absolute. I don't give a flying fuck if you live in a swamp, forest, desert, tundra or your mother's trailer. 1) First Aid and Trauma Ca
