  1. Our place in the world

We are in the middle of the battle between the thief and our creator. The struggle and stategy is to attempt to gain control of our thoughts, thereby controlling our feelings and by default, controlling our decisions and actions. As Gds children, we struggle constantly with these attacks on our mind and soul. We fight back by using the blood of Jesus and maintaining our relationship with our Almighty Father. We did not choose this battle, but being for love, and not hate, and being for good and not evil, puts us in the crosshairs. Your thoughts are where it begins. One of our most valuable spiritual weapons at our disposal is prayer and keepng our personal relationship with our Father close to our heart and soul. The battlefield is in our minds. We do not have control over what thoughts come to our minds, but we do have control over what dwells in our minds and what actions we partake of as a consequence of that occupation. Our warfare is with Spiritual oppression. Our protection is with the blood of Jesus. We can absolve to rid ourselves of this unrighteous oppression and invasion. This is where our power in the battle lies. The doorbell keeps ringing, but it is up to us not to let evil impurity in the door to reside selfishly inside of our minds and souls. We are a creation in Christ, therefore we have his nature. We must tap into this connection with our creator and experience his love firsthand by nuturing our closeness and relationship with him. We should not embrace what is inheritently evil as our own thoughts because they are not. We must recognize and  know the difference. This is the power of Gd in our life.

    Romans chapter 6:

    Slaves to Righteousness

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! 16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

19 I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness. 20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

How can we find victory or fall to disatrous defeat?

    2nd Corinthians 10 verse 5:

And we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Every thought we must embrace must honor the Lord Jesus Christ or it must be rejected. The Holy Spirit working with us will help bring this to fruition. We must reject the lordship of Satan. Realize the redemption of your heart through Jesus and reject all that is unclean.

    Romans Chapter 7.

    Verse 21-25

I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Sin has conscience intellect and will.

In our unredeemed body there is an enemy that dwells there. That enemy is the power of endwelling sin. Why do I sucumb to this indignity? This is the path Satan uses to inject thoughts into your mind. We must empower ourselves and gain victory over our enemy of man. Unclean thoughts that we must identify and reject with our whole heart and soul. Satan is the father of lies and the great deceiver. There is no room for him because we choose to endwell Jesus Christ instead. All thoughts that are not consistent with Jesus are being served from the enemy. We must protect our souls in the name of the Almighty Gd. our father.
