We are moving the classroom portion of a lot of our training programs online using a secured 256 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption (FYI, Banks use 128 to 256 bit encryption). All classroom training for the Militia, as well as the Prepsteaders, can be done from home (or work if you can get away with it) using a browser or your cell phone. No more Death by Powerpoint. We will still maintain a classroom option for members, but this will increase our actual training time by decreasing the classroom time needed down by 90%, allowing our members to get more hands on training time per session. It will be available for all members of the Alabama Militia. This same training system is in use for many commercial training programs and has proven successful for over a decade. We also have completed our secure Comms system for our members that allows real time Internet communications using the same 256 bit SSL security used on the training system. Alabama Militia also uses an encrypted SMS/Voice/Video system for communications between members. We operate our own servers so all of our members information is secured, encrypted, and behind multiple firewalls. We do not post member information or photographs to public sites or social media.
