Alabama Veteran, concerned with the immediate future of the United States of America. I fear that the inability or unwillingness of the American people to rise up and stop the path our country is taking, may wake up one day soon and find that the changes are too late to do anything about. Bruce lee once said, "no action is an action" also it was said ( in easy terms) evil will prosper when good men standby and do nothing. The Germans executed millions while the United States stood by and did nothing, because America didn't think that far away war was any of our concern, finally America got involved but almost too late. Athens fell because the people did not combine their forces when needed until too late. Mexico has almost retaken the southwest United States as we speak without ever fireing a shot. The Democrat leader is a admitted socialist (Sanders) and nearly all the votes he gets is from college students because today's college students don't know what socialism means, and aren't old enough to remember the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). The president now has the authority to declare martial law without provocation, to include the confiscation of all water, cattle, farm produce, even your personal garden is susceptible to confiscation legally. You don't have to take my word for it, ( and I would hope you do your own research and read the Articles, bills, Including the House and senate bills.) inform yourself. I predict, one day, people will look around and wonder, how did all this happen, or what happened to the country we once knew. The answer will be, The people stood by and did nothing to stop it, everyone expected someone else to do it for them, so nobody did anything. Isn't that a shame.
