57-43: Senate Completely Abolishes Obama’s Pride And Joy, Law Gets Shredded By Majority Vote Posted by Matthew Bernstein | Feb 16, 2017 His [Obama] eight-year crusade included executive orders that stopped people from buying guns, for whatever reason he could think of, including if they were receiving Social Security disability benefits. However, within the first few days of Trump’s Presidency that was quickly taken down. First, the House of Representatives voted to overturn this measure, sending it to the Senate. But now, the Senate has officially overturned this Obama-era regulation, as they voted 57-43 to stop the regulation in its tracks. And because both the Senate and the House have overturned this regulation, it will be sent to President Donald Trump’s desk, where he is expected to sign it. According to Paul Sperry (just seen on FOX and Friends), it is all coming from Obama and his "Organizing For America". Former president BHO and his "shadow government" are behind the riots, protests, town hall disruptions, etc all targeted at President Trump's administration. His organization has trained over 30,000 "protesters" and they in turn train others. There is another training coming up soon. According to the website, people signing up go through 6-weeks of training. What Obama is doing seems to make him and his minions Domestic Terrorist under the U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act. (5)the term “domestic terrorism” means activities that— (A)involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State; (B)appear to be intended— (i)to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii)to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii)to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and ©occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States. Just a note, when you go to OFA website and look at the footer, the last sentence is, "In loving memory of Alex Okrent". Who is Alext Okrent? He was a gay Obama campaign staffer who died at age 29. Obama dedicated his 2013 Inaugural Ball to his memory. I'd say connect the dots, OFA is the work of the community organizer who somehow ended up in the WH.
We all want to monitor the diseases coming into our country from foreigners or Americans returning from abroad. We have seen the rise of diseases once thought to have been removed from our landscape. On January 17, 2017, the last day of the Obama administration, a new final rule on the Control of Communicable Diseases was issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that is schedule to take effect in March. The new rule gives the CDC expanded authority to apprehend, isolate and quarantine for at least 72 hours a person entering the U.S. or traveling between states, who is suspected of being infected, or at risk of being infected, with one of the nine diseases on the U.S. quarantine list (cholera, plague, diphtheria, smallpox, yellow fever, infectious tuberculosis, viral hemorrhagic fevers [like Ebola], severe acute respiratory syndrome [sARS] and influenza) that can cause a pandemic.2 The rule also strengthens federal surveillance of travelers for symptoms of non-quarantinable diseases like measles, pertussis and meningococcal disease.3 While proponents are touting the changes as necessary to protect the public health, critics have been arguing since the CDC first published the Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) in August 2016, that it is an example of government overreach, which poses a risk to health and civil liberties.4 My issue is when the government begins to use their reasonable authority in an unreasonable manner. I love my country, I do not trust those in power. I trust President Trump because I sincerely believe he loves America but Obama's loyal socialist progressives which have infested the halls of Washington D.C. on down... they I do NOT trust. The new rule gives the CDC the power to detain for further health assessment a person who is crossing the U.S. or state borders if he or she is exhibiting certain infection symptoms associated with quarantinable diseases, such as fever, headache and acute gastroenteritis (abdominal cramps, loose stools or vomiting). The new rule also makes it clear that rash and cough symptoms of non-quarantinable infectious diseases, such as measles and pertussis, among travelers are going to be more closely monitored by federal government officials as well. For non-quarantinable diseases, CDC will be working with state health departments, who have the legal authority to detain and quarantine citizens suspected of being infected with, or at risk for, being infected with a communicable disease. James Hodge Jr., a professor of public health law and ethics at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, told NPR, "Because of the breadth and scope of the definition of ill persons, CDC can target a much wider swath of persons to assess and screen."6 I emphasized "state borders" because I have visions of military check points on main roads and highways with soldiers or state police forcing citizens off the road to a medical facility, (much the way semi-trucks must stop at weigh stations) where people in white lab coats give instant medical check ups and ordering people to one line or the other. Sounds like science fiction but may not. However, as mentioned, the new rule also allows the CDC to step up federal surveillance of travelers displaying a number of common illness symptoms associated with non-quarantinable diseases like measles and pertussis. Although travelers found to be infected with or at risk for being infected with a non-quarantinable disease like measles cannot be quarantined by federal health officials, state health officials do have the legal authority to detain and quarantine residents infected with certain communicable diseases, depending upon the state's public health laws. The final rule was originally scheduled to go into effect February 21, 2017. However, with the change in administration, the new regulations are being reviewed and will not take effect until the end of March 2017, at the earliest.13 Read the entire article written By Dr. Mercola at link below. https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2017/02/14/cdc-seeks-quarantine-powers.aspx
