How's a Christian to face Russia, ISIS, political skullduggery?

The world is less secure now than in decades. Russia is rattling its sabers not only in its own neighborhood but across the Middle East.

That region, by the way, is being stricken by ISIS, the Islamic organization which randomly executes people by drowning, beheadings, burning and by throwing victims off buildings. Christian persecution is rising to levels not ever seen – around the globe.

China is asserting political and military control over vast regions long considered international waters.

Inside the United States, just look at the skullduggery becoming evident in the presidential race. And the current president is changing the conversation about the Constitution from “freedom of religion” to “freedom of worship” – that activity that takes place only behind closed doors – and those who pursue a Christian lifestyle are in the bull’s-eye for not just anti-Christian activists but a significant number actually in government positions now.

But there is light in the darkness, and the 11th annual International Strategic Perspectives Conference, assembled by the Koinonia Institute, is bringing together some of the top experts in the Bible, prophecy, and what’s going on in the world today.

The events are Oct. 27-29 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where the Coeur d’Alene Resort will be the base of operations.

Many of the individual events are sold out, but some remain available and significantly, the online streaming option is available on the conference website.

Among the speakers will be Koinonia founder Chuck Missler, Joseph Farah, Joel Richardson, William Federer, Peter Flint, Scott Carroll, Paul McGuire, William Welty, Jay Seegert, L.A. Marzulli, Bob Cornuke, Bill Salus, Ron Matsen and more.

“This is not for everyone,” event organizers explain online. “It is designed for those who are truly committed to becoming an ambassador for the Coming King. Here you will find flexible paths of achievement without any straightjackets of presumption or tradition.”

Missler explains, “We believe that we are all heading into extremely turbulent times, which will test all of our presumptions and beliefs. It is our objective to identify, encourage, and equip leadership for the challenges ahead.”

Missler, after a distinguished military career and more than 30 years of success in the corporate, high-technology and defense-contracting world, founded Koinonia Institute and Koinonia House with a vision to “stimulate us to dig into the Bible ourselves.”

Carroll is an Egyptologist, archeologist and Bible scholar who is expert on how the Bible was preserved, translated and transmitted over thousands of years.

Federer, a nationally recognized speaker, author and chief of Amerisearch, a publishing company dedicated to America’s heritage, produces the daily American Minute radio feature.

McGuire is a recognized prophecy expert, speaker, and author of 26 books, including “Mass Awakening, A Prophecy of the Future of America,” and “The Day the Dollar Died.” He’s a feature film producer, host of the television series “Apocalypse and the End Times,” commentator on Fox News, CNN, and The History Channel.

Cornuke is an international explorer and author of nine books. He has participated in over 60 expeditions around the world searching for lost locations described in the Bible. He’s been on National Geographic Channel, CBS, NBC’s Dateline, Good Morning America, CNN, MSNBC, Fox, ABC, History Channel and Ripley’s Believe It or Not. He’s lead research specialist at Koinonia House.

Thomas, who was the Provost at Pacific International University. His new series “On the Trail of the Nephilim” is a full-color, over-sized book which uncovers startling evidence that there has been a massive cover-up of what he believes are the remains of the Nephilim, the giants mentioned in the Bible.

Salus is an expert at explaining the prophetic relevance of current Middle East and world events, and his freelance articles have been featured on WND, magazines, and extensively over the Internet.
