THE GUN LAWS MAP
https://www.mymilitia.com/gun-laws-map/

This map is included as a tool to assist you in your local gun laws or the laws in states you intend to travel too. Most importantly this map includes information as to what states recognize each others concealed carry licenses (CCW). Please note there are three major laws most people are not aware of are the "Castle Doctrine" , "Duty To Retreat" and the "Duty To Inform". Rather or not these laws are enabled or not can put you in jail or keep you free, so we recommend you familiarize yourself on what exactly these laws are. The Castle Doctrine is a legal doctrine that designates a person's abode or any legally occupied place as a place in which that person has protections and immunities permitting one, in certain circumstances, to use force (up to and including deadly force) to defend oneself against an intruder, free from legal prosecution for the consequences of the force used. Duty To Retreat is a legal requirement in some jurisdictions that a threatened person cannot stand one's ground and apply lethal force in self-defense, but must instead retreat to a place of safety. Duty to Inform is a requirement if an individual is carrying a concealed handgun without a permit, he/she has a duty, when coming into contact with any law enforcement officer during a routine stop, detention or arrest, to immediately inform the law enforcement officer that the individual is carrying a concealed handgun not doing so can result in implications.

I actually thought you could open carry on every state that's crazy.

Most states it is illegal to open carry. Hell, here in Louisiana, cops are still harassing and arresting folks for open carry, even though its legal.

Indiana is open carry but there have been a couple cases of LEO hassling open carriers.  I see people open carrying from time to time around my town, so far I haven't heard of anyone getting hassled around here.  Shouldn't have to have an extra law making it legal, it should be legal everywhere.
